Audit facilitation and preparation involve systematic planning, execution, and monitoring of audits. Preparation requires essential steps, such as complete reconciliation and documentation of material items in the balance sheet, to ensure that accruals are completed. Additionally, obtaining grant documentation, including award letters and closeouts, reconciling indirect costs, and preparing the Statement of Expenditures for Federal (or State) Awards (SEFA/SESA).
Collective Strategies & audit management services include a dedicated project manager for the audit, ensuring its smooth and timely completion including tying out previous audits.
The project manager facilitates frequent regular team meetings with all stakeholders. This includes assuring to track open auditor requests, status and assign responsibilities for each open request. Our Project Manager keeps the audit moving forward holding everyone accountable for their respective tasks. They also address any audit findings and recommentations and assist with submitting the audit to the Federal Clearing House.
